New iPhone App ?
Posted by andyjkelley9 on April 27, 2008
TUAW claims that they have heard that the Apple company is working on a new iPhone application that is called “iControl”. This will let the iPhone control and stream media from any local iTunes library. TUAW was told that a media navigator will let you to play podcasts, listen to music, view videos and even support shuffle playback. Evidence of the player can apparently be found in the newest iPhone Beta Firmware. Apple already has existing products, like the Apple TV and Airport Express, which lets iTunes stream to external devices, so giving similar functionality to the iPhone just seems natural.
